Werewolf Roots

April 11, 2010 at 11:04 am (General) (, , , , , , , , , , )

The guy is a wolf, so he belongs with my other wolves. Don’t you agree???

These are before and after pictures. Take your pick as to which is before and what comes after!

Killing the Bloodlust has been sent in the newsletter. It’s about vampires…my other love.

So off to work on writing Taming the Highland Wolf all day!!! They’re making up the cover now! Can’t wait to see it!!!

Did you know that curiosity is the sign of intelligence??? Maybe that’s why I love a good mystery and love to write about them! This comment was actually made in a book about wolves and how the wolf was curious about the photographer who was taking his picture!

As to werewolves–the university where I received my MBA wants to do a feature on my books, and an Australian student emailed me about writing her thesis about shapeshifters–ah…the life of a werewolf. No longer are they hunted (well, except for in Legend of the White Wolf), and they love who they are (except for one of them in Wolf Fever) and they are good guys (except for the bad guys) (Destiny of the Wolf, Heart of the Wolf, Seduced by the Wolf)…yes, the lives of werewolves. 🙂

I have to admit, I do have Scottish roots, but as to werewolf roots? I’m still researching that equation. My daughter is doing a college paper on family roots and what ties us together–the military. Many of our family members were in the military. And academia, many were well educated. But werewolf roots? Still looking.

So do you have a reoccurring theme in your family roots?

Hope you all are having a delightful Sunday! I’m off to work, work, work! But the most pleasurable kind of work!

Wolves on an Easter Egg Hunt!

April 3, 2010 at 7:39 am (General) (, , , , , , , , , , )

I’m at seductive places all over today! 🙂

And since it’s Easter weekend, here are some of the pack having their first Easter egg hunt. 🙂

And thanks to my good friend and critique partner, Nicole North, I’m at Seduced by History talking about being the ancestor of the Duke of Argyll’s daughter with a free chance at winning a copy of Winning the Highlander’s Heart.

And I’m here also today with a recipe for cold nights and hot dates:

Happy Hookers: Engaging the Reader from Start to Finish also starts on Monday–so if you’re a writer looking for a way to hook a reader, come join me! 🙂

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter! I’ll be writing and doing a little spring cleaning and if I can get the mower started, mowing!!

What are your plans???
